I am Kaelyn D Malinski, a junior year design student currently majoring in Communication Design. As a designer, Ilike to add a more hand-drawn, illustrative touch to my works. While this means that I just make my own workload a lot more tedious than it needs to be, I end up liking the projects that I have my own illustrations be a key part of a lot more. 

      I’ve grown up being the art kid, where I took a liking to it at a young age. Growing up I would draw whenever I would get the chance to, even during class time when it would not be the best time to be doing so. Initially I was self-taught with drawing traditionally, then I was later on taught how to draw digitally by a friend in middle school. While I had my own style by the time I started my higher education, the art classes I have taken only helped to strengthen my skills while I learn the ins and outs of being a Graphic Designer.

      I always knew that I wanted to make some sort of career out of my art in the future, though at this point I am unsure of where that path will lead. For now, I’m focusing on my classes and learning what I can. That way, once I figure out my next steps as both a designer and an artist, I’ll be confident enough on whatever path I end up following.
